Summary

While specific wording has been used below of what you, as a user, can expect of the conditions surrounding your use of this site, the underlying ethic is one of responsibility, trust and respect. You are expected to use this website in a manner governed by common sense and to treat others and the information they contribute to the site as you would like yourself and your own information to be treated.

Definitions

"The site" or "the website" refers to the Old Hamptonian's Database website and all content and media accessed through the ohdb.co.uk domain.

"The School" refers to Hampton School of Hanworth Road, Hampton, Middlesex, TW12 3HD.

"The Admin" refers to those individuals who act as website administrators and develop, update and maintain the site.

"The members" refers to those users who are Old Hamptonians and have a personal account on the site.

"The users" refers to any persons who access the site in any capacity.

Acceptable Use Policy

By using this site (including any access by any means to any of the information) you give full acceptance in all parts of the following conditions.

• You will not distribute any of the information contained within the site to a third party, whether an individual or an organisation, without express consent of the person to whom that information is attributed.
• You will not allow any third party to use your account (if you have one) to access the site.
• You will not use any of the information on this website in a manner which could be detrimental in any way to any website member, the School, the Admin or the site.
• You will not post any material which is illegal or may cause distress to other users.
• You will not attempt to hack or gain unauthorised access to any area or information to which you are not entitled.
• You will not attempt to cause disruption to the service delivered by this website by any mechanism.
• You will only use this website in a manner which respects the privacy of all users.

Your privacy

By using this site (including any access by any means to any of the information), you accept the following.

• Any information you submit to this website will become available to all other members and the Admin except your password.
• Your password is encrypted using one-way encryption and never seen by any user, member or Admin.
• Whilst every effort is made to keep your information secure, no system is completely safe and there is a risk that your personal information will be compromised.
• Official website communications on behalf of the School or the Admin may be sent to you from time to time unless you opt out, which can be done by editing your profile.
• Urgent website communications, as deemed by the Admin, may be sent to you despite opting out of mailings. When this occurs the Admin has deemed it in your best interests to recieve the communication.
