As part of the 450th Anniversary fundraising, two long-serving staff members, Pat Talbot and Jon Cook have reissued their previously successful 'The Level Playing Field' .... a fascinating collection of sporting tales.
This colourful, bigger and better version is an excellent read and contains a tremendous mix of stories from staff, boys, parents and Old Hamptonians.
Details can be found on this website (recent publications) or via the School's website. Only £10 with all profits going to the School's 450th Anniversary funds.

OH v School 1st XI -this Saturday
22nd October 2007
Dear Old Hamptonian
I am writing to let you know that a memorial football match between the OH and the School in honour of the late Walter Bailey has been arranged for Saturday 10th November. The game will take place on the School 1st XI pitch and will kick off at 10.30am. Your support would be much appreciated and please pass on these details to anyone else who may be interested.
A collection will be taken in order to raise money for a charity to be nominated by Walter's family.
Kind regards.

The Dating Game
3rd September 2007
The best of the Edinburgh Fringe comes to Hampton. Only two special performances on Thursday and Friday. Come down and see this tremendous piece.
Returning from a successful run at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it received 4 and 5 star reviews, The Dating Game is a fast-paced, funny and often moving insight into the world of speed-dating. Watch as the unfortunate stories of the very unlucky in love unfold before your eyes at Jocasta Matchmaking. It does contain some adult language and themes. It is being performed for two nights (Sept. 6 & 7) by the cast consisting of Hampton School and The Lady Eleanor Holies School students at 7.30p.m. in The Garrick Theatre at Harnpton School. Tickets are priced at £7 (£5
concessions).

Excellent new writing! 4th Aug 2007
A really amusing piece of work - some great one liners that kept people laughing long and hard - innovative characterisations, both amusing and with darker elements. I thoroughly enjoyed this production and would recommend others to give it a try.

Hampton says farewell
12th June 2007
At the end of the summer 2007 term, we say farewell to five senior staff who have dedicated their careers to teaching at Hampton, Bob Gill, Mike Godfrey, Colin Flood, Ken Rice and Patricia Kyle. A large number of our younger OH will remember these colleagues as Form Tutors, Heads of Year, from subject lessons, Adventure Society, holiday trips and the CCF.
To recognise their special long service and dedication to the School, we have opened a farewell message book for each one where OH are warmly invited to pass on their own best wishes. If you would like to email me (devdir
hamptonschool.org.uk) with your message, I will gladly include it in the staff’s Farewell Book.
Best wishes for now and thank you for your support,
