Annual Dinner 2008
11th October 2008
Last night, the Old Hamptonians Association held their very popular and enjoyable Annual Dinner at School attended by over 100 OH and guests.
We were very pleased Alex Hungate (77-84) seen standing in the back row 3rd from left, was able to join us as the Guest of Honour. Alex was supported by an enthusiastic group of his classmates which included Simon Emeny, John Hedger, George Link, Richard Sismey and Alex’s brother Nick Hungate.
We had a “lively” group from 1998 who were celebrating their 10th Anniversary along with a large number of the OH Golf Society under the Captaincy of Gary Hide, who had played a match earlier the same day at Leatherhead GC.
All in all, a tremendous reunion with a first class meal and excellent company. Our sincere thanks to John Carpenter as the Dinner Secretary for arranging everything so professionally and all the OH who attended.
A full Dinner report will be published soon along with a comprehensive collection of photographs available in a few days via a link to the School’s main website.
