Update No 1 : Chris Martin's Solo Atlantic crossing
3rd December 2005
After many months of fundraising and planning, his departure from La Gomera was delayed from the 27th to the 30th November, due to the remnants of a tropical storm hitting the Canary Islands. Needless to say, Chris was eager to get underway with his epic voyage and couldn't wait to get started! At present, Chris is 88 miles into his voyage with 2843 miles to go. Chris would like to thank everyone from Hampton who has sponsored him so far for their support and hopes everyone has a good Christmas on dry land! To track Chris' progress, you can look at his website www.transatlanticforce.co.uk. Any questions or problems please contact me.
Current pictures will be on the gallery soon. Thanks again,
Michael Martin ('TransAtlantic Force' Land Support Team for Chris Martin)
