Hampton School is now on Twitter
12th July 2011
We are pleased to announce that Hampton School is now on Twitter.
We hope that our Twitter feed will help you keep informed about School events, latest news stories and, occasionally, important updates on issues such as school closure due to bad weather. Our ‘tweets’ alert you to the fact that pertinent information has been posted on the School website. You will often be given a link that will allow you to go directly to the School website to find out more on that subject if you wish. Please note that the Twitter feed is for the School to pass on information to the School community and we shall not be able to respond to individual replies from ‘followers’.
A limited number of ‘tweets’ will go out over the summer updating you on public exam results and related information, as well as sports’ tour results. We will run a fuller Twitter feed from September.
More information on Twitter
People can receive ‘tweets’ via their mobile phone or by visiting their homepage on the Twitter website. Twitter is an international information network, but you select and are in control of those from whom you wish to receive ‘tweets’ - i.e. you can receive information tweets from Hampton School alone, if that is what you choose to do.

July 2011
Dear Old Hamptonian
Annual Dinner 2011
I am writing to invite you to attend the OHA Annual Dinner on Friday 14 October 2011. Our guest speaker this year will be Stephen Miron (OH 1976-83), currently Group Chief Executive of the commercial radio giant, Global Radio.
As usual, the dinner will be held in the Dining Hall at the School and will be preceded by drinks at the bar between 7.00 pm and 7.45 pm. When you make your plans to be there, why not organise a table (of ten) of your contemporaries in advance? If you need any of their contact details just get in touch with Maria Jafrato in the OHA Office at the School.
Although the dinner remains predominantly a ‘men only’ occasion, we do welcome special lady guests who play an important part in the links between the School and Old Hamptonians.
To book a place at the dinner all you have to do is complete the enclosed booking form, returning it to me with payment.
Please note that the deadline for booking groups of more than two people is Friday 30 September. After this date NO large parties will be accepted! Individual bookings will be accepted until Friday 7 October. I would appreciate your help by keeping to these dates.
I look forward to meeting you at the School on the night of 14 October.
Kind regards.
